Antwaun Woods

BIOGRAPHY

Antwaun Woods was born on January 3rd, 1993, in Los Angeles, California. He is a defensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL.

Woods was a starter for all four years playing for William Howard Taft. During his junior campaign, he collected 38 tackles and had 4 sacks, as well as 31 tackles and 2 sacks as a senior. He was named Super Prep All-American and an Under Armour All-American. He then went on to receive a football scholarship to USC.

Antwaun redshirted his first year at USC. He started the first four games of his redshirt freshman season as a nose tackle and was used as a backup for the rest of the season, recording 16 tackles, 3 sacks and 4.5 tackles for loss.

During his sophomore season he continued as a defensive tackle. He started for half of the season and recorded 20 tackles, 1 sack, and 2 tackles for a loss and a deflection.

His junior year he was used mostly as a nose tackle, appearing in twelve games while starting in ten of them. Antwaun recorded 37 tackles with 1 sack, and 1 tackle for loss. His season came to an end after tearing his chest muscle just before the Holiday Bowl.

In his senior year, Antwaun recorded 38 tackles, 3 sacks, and 6 tackles for a loss, which earned him Defensive Lineman of the Year. Overall, Woods recorded 111 tackles, 8 sacks, and 13.5 tackles for loss throughout his college career.

Antwaun received a bachelor's degree in sociology.
