Chase Roullier

BIOGRAPHY

Chase Roullier was born on August 23rd, 1993, in Burnsville, Minnesota. He is a center in the NFL.

He attended Burnsville high school, where he earned First Team Associated Press All-State honors as an offensive lineman his senior season and was named Honorable Mention All-State as a defensive lineman. He was ranked by ESPN as the No. 15 recruit at all positions in the state of Minnesota in 2011 and was also honored by the Minnesota Football Coaches Association as an Academic All-State selection.

He played college football at the University of Wyoming; in 2012, he redshirted. In 2013 he played in 10 games, Roullier made his way into the starting lineup for the last three contests of the season. He helped bulldoze a path in the Hawai’i game when the Cowboys had 295 rushing yards. He showed versatility, playing at the center and guard spot. He was named to the Academic All-Conference team for his work in the classroom.

In 2014 as a sophomore, he earned Honorable Mention All-Mountain West honors at left guard, starting all 12 games for the Cowboys. He helped the Cowboy offense record 694 yards of total offense against Fresno State, which included a season-high 374 rushing yards. He was named to the Academic All-Conference team for the second time for his work in the classroom.

As a junior in 2015, he was named All-Mountain West for the second-straight season garnering Second Team Honors. He started all 12 games for the Pokes at left guard. Rated by Pro Football Focus as one of the Top 10 graded offensive or defensive linemen in the nation in 2015 and rated by PFF as the No. 1 overall graded offensive guard in the nation and the No. 9 overall offensive or defensive lineman based on film graded by PFF. He had only one penalty called on him in the 740 plays he participated in for the 2015 season. And he was named to the Academic All-Conference team for the third time for his work in the classroom.

The Washington Football Team drafted Roullier in the sixth round, 199th overall, in the 2017 NFL Draft. He played in 13 games with seven starts as a rookie and made NFL debut on special teams vs. PHI. In 2018 he started in all 16 games in which he appeared, allowing only a half-sack on the season — one of three players on offense to start and play all 16 games.
